Task 2a)The girls were excited as they waited for the results
Their minds were filled with thoughts,their hands on thier chests feeling the intense pumping of their hearts.Their eyes fixated fully on the screens.Blood was rushing through their veins as they tried their best to maintain their sensibility.The screen flashed and loud screaming erupted from the room as the dead silence was broken.

Nice. Good use of details and actions. I actually think the repetition of the sentence structure [i.e.: Noun-Verb, Noun-Verb] increases the tension.
